They said it would never happen....  but it did. 

Everyone said that CONFEDERATE BATTLE FLAG should only be exhibited in a museum.  Well folks, it was!  It is an Open Air Flag Museum.  Then the city of Wichita, Kansas took it down and REMOVED IT FROM A MUSEUM! 

For over forty years the CONFEDERATE BATTLE FLAG was on display in this OPEN AIR FLAG MUSEUM in Veterans Memorial Park in Wichita, Kansas without one complaint.
REPEAT... NOT ONE COMPLAINT!!!
This Confederate Battle Flag was on display along with other flags including the Civil War Union Battle Flag, and by the way it flew on a flag pole right next to the Confederate Battle Flag. 
Before the City of Wichita Park and Recreation Board voted to take it down and remove the battle flag from the OPEN AIR FLAG MUSEUM, this Confederate Battle Flag was used to teach and educate students on field trips to the Veterans Memorial Park and other visitors from Wichita and around the world, about the great loss of life in the War between the States.
As students and visitors stood at the foot of these two side by side flag poles, the could look up and see them flow in the Kansas wind and reflect on the great price of freedom that was paid in the 1860's.
Everyone wants you to believe that this Confederate Battle Flag was a symbol of hate, slavery and the persecution of black and white slaves in the south.  The truth, if anyone wants to know, the CONFEDERATE BATTLE FLAG was a square flag that was designed and used only in combat.  And then it was only used for four years.
After the War between the States, Civil War, there are pictures that show the Confederate Battle Flag being carried by Confederate soldiers, black and white, walking together just like they were in combat together.  There was no raciest overtones between these black and white Confederate soldiers.
Only in the 1950's, the start of the Civil Rights Movement do we see the Confederate Battle Flag being hijacked and misused by bad people and organizations.  Even the Democrat Party and men campaigning for the presidency of the United States of America.      
I keep hearing people say that Confederate Battle Flag reminds them of slavery.  Question, who told them that?  Every child is born with a clean slate memory.  The only way they are exposed to this kind of thinking is from their parents and grandparents first.
Remember, I said the Confederate Battle Flag was hijacked and misused by bad people and bad organizations.
The educated person should have had the intellect to know the difference rather then fall into the trap of gossip and false statements.  Or, they just didn't care to use the power of knowing the truth about the Confederate Battle Fag.

This is what happens when you march lockstep with the wrong people.

The War Between the States has been over for 150+ years!
